Support Research into Australasia's Maritime Heritage
AIMA is the largest maritime archaeology non-government organisation (NGO) in Australia. By joining AIMA you are supporting research into Australasia’s maritime heritage.
Membership with AIMA entitles you to four newsletters annually, access to the email forum, and a yearly copy of the Australasian Journal of Maritime Archaeology. Members also receive discounts to the annual conference, merchandise, and to training courses. By joining AIMA you can be directly involved with the ongoing research into Australasia’s maritime history.
Members are regularly investigating sunken shipwrecks, researching building techniques, and retracing trade routes – both ancient and modern. Your membership with AIMA assists in supporting these projects through annual scholarships, publications outlets, and regular networking events.
