Dusky Sound, in Fiordland, is home to some of New Zealand’s most important shipwrecks, and now a team of divers and historians have been given the chance to examine some of the wrecks for the first time.
The 2020/21 Annual Report for Heritage Victoria's Maritime Heritage at Risk Program includes details on conservation at the Amazon wreck, the monitoring of fourteen shipwrecks located in State and Commonwealth waters and inspections conducted at five wreck sites.
The Editor is now accepting submissions for Volume 45 of the Australasian Journal of Maritime Archaeology (AJMA) 2021. Deadline is the 22 April 2022.
