We held a discussion about the National Marine Science Plan White Paper for underwater cultural heritage, and were facinated by a talk from Rachel Nanson of the Marine and Coastal Geoscience section of Geoscience Australia (see her slides and links).
Aurora Philpin and Patrick Morrison gave an interesting presentation about the shipwrecks around Rottnest Island and we provided updates on the many upcoming events that AIMA is part of this year.
At this meeting Hiroshi Ishii gave a fantastic presentation about Japanese Heritage in Tonoas, Chuuk Lagoon, and there were many AIMA updates to share as well as interesting topics of discussion!
